Surging sand dunes! Jayson Peters re-blog, Social July 10, 2019 View this post on Instagram At Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, visitors this #June got a rare #summertime treat: #MedanoCreek is more of a wave pool than its usual trickle for the time of year. That’s because peak flow for the #creek that winds around the foot of the #dunes was delayed by later-than-usual cold #temperatures. While visitors to the #natural #landmark about a hundred miles from the #Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (#PCAPP) are used to #surfing down the dunes, many were also able to ride the #waves. . . Thanks for exploring around the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (#PCAPP) and the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (#BGCAPP) . . #Water #GreatSandDunes #NationalPark #Sand #Summer #Vacation #ATP #NationalRecreationMonth A post shared by PEO ACWA (@peoacwa) on Jul 5, 2019 at 12:15pm PDT Share this:TweetPrintEmailLike this:Like Loading...
