Pueblo County citizens are learning about Static Detonation Chambers in a series of public meetings in 2018 and 2019. Three of the electrically heated units have been purchased to augment operations at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (#PCAPP), allowing for safer processing of 4.2-inch mortar rounds and problematic munitions as well as improving worker safety by reducing toxic area entries in the main plant.
